An active ingredient, because it acts for the well-being of your skin, by inducing the synthesis of ceramides or by having an anti-acne action for example. An excipient, because thanks to its unique pH, it allows the conservation of our cosmetic products: no need to add preservatives!

Edelweiss

Silver Star, Snow Immortelle, or Glacier Star are all nicknames for this precious white flower which only grows in the mountains. Despite a harsh life in extreme environments, this seemingly fragile plant has been able to adapt to its environment to maintain its incredible beauty over time. Long studied, this 100% natural flower extract is recognized in dermatology and for its medicinal virtues, particularly anti-inflammatory. In cosmetics, it is a powerful and valuable active ingredient, with anti-aging, moisturizing and anti-oxidant benefits; ideal qualities to protect and beautify the skin. This is why edelweiss is ideal for mature skin, but not only that. Indeed, it is also interesting in a hydrating serum like ours, for young skin that wants to remain supple and soft. As a bonus, edelweiss has soothing and softening compounds that make it extremely interesting for sensitive, fragile and damaged skin.

Vegetal glycerine

We have chosen 100% natural origin glycerin. It is an effective moisturizer, known to provide softness to your skin, making it supple and smooth to the touch. Like jojoba oil, it is non-comedogenic and non-allergenic.

Jojoba oil

It is the essential oil, if we had to have only one, it would be it. Rich in omega 9 fatty acids, these will keep your skin elastic, supple, soothed and hydrated. Also rich in unsaponifiables (copper, zinc, linoleic acid, vitamin B8, vitamin B3, vitamin E), the free radicals responsible for the oxidation of our cells and their premature aging are trapped: we thus prevent the first signs of age ! In addition to being non-comedogenic, meaning it does not clog pores and therefore does not cause the appearance of any pimples, blackheads or microcysts; it is suitable for all skin types! It helps nourish and repair dry, very dry and/or atopic skin; to firm mature skin lacking tone; and moisturize normal, combination or oily skin.

Surfactants

We use a non-ionic surfactant, which is certainly less foaming but which does not harm your skin. In addition, it is not PEG or polysorbates 20 and 80, which are recognized or reputed endocrine disruptors.

Vitamin B5

In cosmetics, provitamin B5 or D-panthenol is first used for its moisturizing action. However, it is also recognized for its restorative, healing, anti-inflammatory, soothing and regenerating actions on dry, damaged and sensitive skin. Indeed, provitamin B5 is quickly absorbed by the skin, then transformed into pantothenic acid, that is to say vitamin B5. Essential for good skin health, a lack of vitamin B5 can cause irritation or even dermatoses on the skin. Its action helps to strengthen the hydrolipidic film, fighting against water loss and dehydration. By stimulating cell proliferation, provitamin B5 repairs the skin barrier, accelerates and improves healing.
